What is it?
A summer work + travel program in the USA that lets you earn money, gain international experience, and explore a new country.
Who is it for?
University students who want to work abroad, improve their English, meet people from around the world, and travel during their break.
Why does it exist?
To connect students from different countries through real work experiences and cultural exchange, not just tourism.
How does it work?
You apply, secure a U.S. job, get visa sponsorship, work during the summer, then travel the U.S. once your job is done.
When does it start?
Usually 3–4 months of work, plus up to 30 extra days to travel and explore after.
Where does it happen?
The preparation happens online and the internships take place all over the USA; Resorts, Hotels, Restaurants, theme parks.

Here's how it works
Prescreening
We schedule an initial video call, to meet you in person and offer a clear understanding of the entire process, from passing the Sponsor interview, to filling out the required paperwork, getting hired, applying for the visa interview and getting the visa approved. We prepare you for the Sponsor interview, and help you maximise the chances of being accepted in the program. We guide you step by step through the heavy paperwork process, so you don’t have to remember all the details at once.
Interviews
We help you create the ideal Resume, in a way that maximises your chances of getting hired. We offer counsel through navigating the extensive list of jobs available, and choosing the opportunity that best fits your needs. We schedule the employer interview for you, and help you maximise your chances of getting hired. In case you don’t get hired from the first try, we review your experience, help you improve your interview skills, and start the process all over, until you get hired (our participants hired rate is 100%).
Visa Process
We prepare all the agreements and help you obtain the visa documents. We guide you step by step through the complex process of scheduling the visa interview. We prepare you for the interview with the US Embassy, and help you maximise your chances of getting the visa approved (our visa approval rate is 98%).
During your Program
We offer medical insurance for the entire period of your program, for no additional cost. We offer you support along the way for the whole internship period. We help you find housing in the USA. We assist you in solving any issues you might have with your employer. We prepare the paperwork in case you need to travel outside of the US, or transfer to another property.

You qualify for the Summer Work and Travel Program in the USA if you:
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You are a full-time student.
- You are sufficiently proficient in English to successfully interact in an English-speaking environment.
- Are available to work during the summer break.
- You have a passport valid at least 6 months past your program end date.
- Are open to cultural exchange and new experiences.
No previous work experience required.
The Program Price payable to Aspen Experience consists in:
- Administrative Fee (non-refundable): € 500 – payable at sign-up.
- Base Program Price: € 1,199 – payable after passing the employer interview.
Program Price includes:
- Official Job Offer;
- Work Permit (DS-2019 Form);
- Training Plan (DS-7002 Form);
- Medical Insurance for the duration of the Program;
- Signup interview and documents processing;
- Initial video call training and coaching for the employer interview;
- Pre-Departure Orientation session before leaving to USA;
- Aspen Experience Membership, which includes prior access to new jobs and 24/7 assistance throughout the Program.
Other costs not included:
- Visa Interview Fee: $185
- SEVIS Fee: $35
- Round trip plane ticket
- Pocket money
- Housing expenses
The Program Price has to be paid as follows:
- First installment: € 500 – to be paid within 3 days after signing the agency agreement (covers the Administrative Fee and it is non-refundable)
- Second installment: € 1,199 – to be paid within 3 days after passing the job interview
The Summer Work and Travel in the USA consists in a working visa and a travel period:
- Work permit period: 4 months.
- Travel period: J-1 students are entitled to a 30-day grace period, after their work permit end date, for traveling within USA.

- English resume;
- Copy of your passport, valid at least 6 months past your program end date;
- Copy of your school transcript;
- Copy of your diploma (if the case);
- Proof of work experience (if the case).
